PACKAGING

Packaging Development and Testing

Bottles, tubes, pumps, and cartons are sampled in parallel. Compatibility issues surface at the sampling stage and are resolved before mass production.

Four packaging verifications

Packaging is not "buying a bottle" — four verifications stand between a structure and the production line.

Structural sampling: bottles, tubes, pumps and cartons together
Structure, volume and neck size settled in one pass — changing structure is cheap, but only at the sampling stage.Structural sampling process
Compatibility: formula and packaging tested as a pair
Packaging compatibility and preservative challenge testing (the compatibility leg of four-property testing) — swelling bottles and pump suck-back must die before shipping.Four-property testing
Direct lines to top packaging suppliers
Amcor, ALPLA, EPL, CLC and KKP — packaging lines inside our 300+ strategic-supplier system, giving new brands access to big-factory MOQs.Strategic supplier system
Filling fit: verified on the pilot line before scale
Seal yield, pump dosage, label registration — packaging issues surface at pilot scale-up, never in mass production.Pilot scale-up process

Packaging

Pump suck-back issues are too late to catch after mass production

Packaging and formula are a pair, not two independent items to source. A serum matched with the wrong pump will suck back and discolor; a high-oil-phase formula matched with the wrong inner wall will swell. These are caught during the sampling stage with accelerated testing, for a few hundred in cost. If they surface during mass production, the cost is the entire batch.
