- Emollient from plants or synthetic; light texture
- Rosa Canina Seed Oil
- Plant oil rich in vitamin E and unsaturated fats, used at 5-10% for emollience; prone to oxidation, requires antioxidants.
- Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil
- Jojoba oil rich in unsaturated fats; good penetration, non-comedogenic, prone to oxidation requiring antioxidants
- Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate
- Lipophilic Vitamin C derivative, antioxidant and brightening; more stable than VC, oil-soluble, must pair with oil phase
- Isopropyl Myristate
- Light synthetic ester, fast-drying and non-greasy; high comedogenic risk, limit in acne-prone skin
