Ricinus Communis Seed Oil

Castor oil for heavy moisturization and film formation; high viscosity, high levels may be comedogenic, blend with other oils.

Glycine Soja Oil

Soybean oil emollient; prone to oxidation, needs antioxidants; suitable for dry skin

Papain

Protease for mild exfoliation; concentration must be controlled to avoid irritation.

Bromelain

Bromelain protease at 0.1–1% for gentle exfoliation; protein hydrolase, avoid long-term co-use with strong acids

Allantoin

Menthol
