- Diisostearyl malate; lightweight emollient and emulsifier; non-greasy feel, biodegradable, used in premium systems.
- Triethylhexanoin
- Light ester for non-greasy feel and fragrance; low allergenicity, high levels can act as solvent
- C20-40 Acid
- Long-chain fatty acid blend for cleansing or emulsification; lipophilic, may feel dry at high levels
- C20-40 alcohols
- Blended long-chain fatty alcohols for emulsification and skin conditioning; moderate comedogenicity (2–3), avoid for oily skin, pair with emulsifiers
- Synthetic wax
- Waxy solidifier for hardness and gloss; complex mixture, not a single molecule.
- Polyethylene
- Plastic polymer particles for abrasion or film; check EU ban on microplastics in rinse-off products, flush-off only
