Tube or pump bottle for wash and body care: which is the better buy?
Under 200 ml with controlled squeeze-out: tube. Over 300 ml, one-handed in the shower: pump bottle.
1Volume and handling
Tubes are squeezed and get awkward past 200 ml; pumps work one-handed but make little sense below 100 ml.
2Shipping and shelf
Tubes pack flat and break less; pumps need headroom for the pump and ship by volume.
3Recycling and labelling
A mono-material PE tube is the easiest EU recycling case; pumps with a metal spring need separation instructions or a spring-free pump.
