How are MOQ and lead time set for cleansing OEM?
17 proven cleansing formulations are on file. Samples usually ship in 5–14 days (existing bases at the short end, new formulations at the long end). MOQ and production lead time are not a single figure: they follow the format and filling line, whether the packaging is a stock shape or a new mould, and whether the formula changes. Terms are issued per project in a written quotation.
1How large runs are costed
Sizes sharing one formulation are combined on the formulation side; packaging is counted per size by its bottle threshold; full-container shipments set the batch plan and give the lowest unit cost.
2Reformulating or changing packaging
A reformulation re-runs stability (40C accelerated, 3 months) and preservative challenge testing (ISO 11930 / USP <51>); a packaging change re-runs compatibility. These tests, not the filling line, set the lead time.
3Launching several sizes at once
One formulation with several packaging sets is the usual pattern: quantities merge on the formulation side and are counted per size on the packaging side.

- Q:Can the MOQ go lower?
- A:The packaging side is where it moves: stock bottle shapes sit an order of magnitude below a new mould. The formulation floor is set by the filling batch and is stated in the quotation.
- Q:When does the lead time start?
- A:From the date packaging arrives and the formulation is signed off; waiting for packaging is not counted, and the quotation says so.
