Cetyl Ethylhexanoate

Synthetic oil providing slip; large molecule, low penetration, non-comedogenic, suitable for dry or rough skin.

PEG-5 Glyceryl Stearate

Non-ionic emulsifier for O/W systems; contains PEG, check compatibility with ionic surfactants

Dimethicone

Silicone occlusive at 1–5%; provides smooth feel, non-penetrating, suitable for sensitive skin

Diphenylsiloxy Phenyl Trimethicone

Fatty acid emulsifier, white waxy solid; adds slip feel

Behenyl Alcohol

Isostearic Acid

Fatty acid derivative as emulsifier auxiliary and emollient; insoluble, requires homogenization, may feel slightly greasy
