Formulation view Soap-based cleanser using disodium lauryl sulfosuccinate and sodium lauroyl sarcosinate. Wheat starch and talc boost oil absorption; aloe and olive oil add moisture, panthenol repairs. Lactic acid adjusts pH. Good for oily skin control. Note: Wheat starch contains gluten, caution for allergies; soap structure is hard in water, requires full lathering.

Ingredients explained

Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate
Mild anionic cleanser and foaming agent for gentle, low-irritation formulations.
Triticum Vulgare Starch
Absorbent and bulking agent for powders or scrubs; contains gluten, avoid for severe celiac patients.
Stearic Acid
Fatty acid emulsifier, white waxy solid; adds slip feel
Cetearyl Alcohol
Fatty alcohol emulsifier at 1-5%; non-ionic surfactant
Palmitic Acid
Palmitic acid for emulsification/emollient; solid fat, high melting point, occlusive.
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice
Natural humectant and soother with high water activity; requires preservative system, generally well-tolerated
Lactic Acid
AHA pH adjuster at 0.5-5%; exfoliation/humectancy, mild at low conc., irritating at high, avoid conflict with alkaline preservatives.
Talc
Inorganic mineral powder for texture and oil absorption; must be asbestos-free; fineness affects skin feel and safety, avoid inhalation.
Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate
Mild anionic surfactant for cleansing and emulsification; 1-5%, suitable for sensitive skin
Aqua
Solvent, main base; microbial control is critical
Cocamidopropyl Betaine
Cocamidopropyl betaine; zwitterionic co-surfactant reducing irritation and boosting foam, common in mild cleansers.
Olea Europaea Fruit Oil
Olive oil, rich in squalene and oleic acid; moderate comedogenicity, caution for oily skin.
Panthenol
Panthenol (vitamin B5) at 1–5%; moisturizing and reparative, supports barrier recovery
Inulin
Plant fiber/prebiotic for moisturizing; fully dissolve to avoid crystallization
Lecithin
Phospholipid emulsifier at 1-5%; biocompatible, moisturizing/antioxidant, prone to oxidation (add TBHQ), mild for sensitive skin.
Parfum
Fragrance for scent; may contain allergens, caution for sensitive skin, full labeling required.
Brassica Campestris Sterols
Rapeseed sterols, plant sterol esters, emollient conditioner at 0.5–3%; rich feel, low comedogenic risk
Hydrolyzed Silk
Hydrolyzed silk; amino acid-rich humectant for skin and hair; potential protein allergens for sensitive skin
Tartaric Acid
Small-molecule organic acid used as buffer and antioxidant; highly irritating at high levels, caution for sensitive skin
Ci 77891
Titanium dioxide inorganic pigment and UV filter; assess inhalation risk for nano-forms and EU restrictions
