- Behenyl Alcohol
- Fat alcohol emulsifier/thickener at 1-3%; low comedogenic risk, check solubility in strong acid/base systems, add antioxidants.
- Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate
- Bio-fermented filtrate for antimicrobial and anti-dandruff effects; assess individual variability, avoid in known allergy.
- Polyglyceryl-10 Distearate
- Non-ionic surfactant for emulsification and emolliency; moderate comedogenic risk, limit in oily skin formulations
- Cetearyl Alcohol
- Fatty alcohol emulsifier at 1-5%; non-ionic surfactant
- Copper Pca
- Copper PCA chelating agent and humectant; added in trace amounts (0.01-0.1%) to stabilize formulation and supply copper ions.
