The core raw material supplier is experiencing inter-batch color variance and odor instability due to capacity issues. Does the factory have alternative sources for the same INCI with complete COAs and heavy metal test reports to pass the import country's safety review?
The same INCI does not automatically mean interchangeability. The factory can provide alternative candidates, but each must carry an original manufacturer's COA with measured values and a traceable lot-number chain. Heavy metal and safety declarations must be complete. No mass production before stability and challenge tests; import-country review follows the latest regulations.
1COA & Lot Traceability
Alternative materials require original manufacturer COAs with measured values. If repackaged, a lot-number link between repack and original batches must be established; broken chains are not accepted.
2INCI Same, Substance Different
Same INCI does not guarantee identical carrier, active content, particle size, or preservative. Stability (4-week high-temp) and microbial challenge must be re-run.
3Import Review File
Heavy metal, allergen, non-animal, and BSE declarations must accompany the shipment per target-market regulations. Missing items block customs clearance.
