- Undecylenic acid; antimicrobial, emulsifier, fragrance; irritant at >1%
- Isopropyl Alcohol
- Alcohol solvent at 1–10%; fast-evaporating, high levels may cause dryness/irritation
- Aqua
- Solvent, main base; microbial control is critical
- Urea
- Potent humectant and keratolytic, >10% has exfoliating effect; stinging sensation at high levels, sensitive skin caution
- Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil
- Eucalyptus leaf oil, strong essential oil; high irritation, strictly limited usage
- Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose
- High polymer for thickening and film formation; water-soluble, used in physical sunscreens or gels, tacky at high levels
- Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil
- Tea tree oil, antibacterial and sebum regulating; highly sensitizing at concentrate level, dilute; avoid on broken skin.

- Natural antioxidant (vitamin E) at 0.1–1%; prone to oxidation, store protected from light

- Natural humectant and soother with high water activity; requires preservative system, generally well-tolerated
