- Jojoba esters, light emollient ester, low comedogenic; sebum-like, excellent spreadability.
- Sodium Cocoamphoacetate
- Mild amphoteric surfactant at 0.5–5%; low irritation, suitable for sensitive skin, often paired with anionics.
- Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil
- Sunflower seed oil for emollient/occlusive; high linoleic acid, low comedogenicity.
- Cocos Nucifera Oil
- Occlusive moisturizing oil at 1–10%; highly comedogenic, use with caution for oily skin.
- Sodium Polyacrylate
- Superabsorbent resin, <1%; gels with electrolytes, ionic strength control required.
- Glycerin
- Workhorse humectant at 3–10%; tacky at high levels, pair with occlusives
- Vitis Vinifera Seed Oil
- Grapeseed oil, lightweight emollient and antioxidant; high linoleic acid, suitable for oily and combination skin.

- Vitamin E derivative antioxidant at 0.1–1%; more stable than tocopherol, store protected from light
- Benzyl Alcohol
- Mild preservative/solvent at 0.5-1.0%; EU allergen (labeling required), irritation risk if concentrated, avoid in infant/highly sensitive skin.
