- Solvent, main base; microbial control is critical
- Bis-Aminopropyl Dimethicone
- Amino-modified silicone for hair conditioning; water-soluble, provides slip and anti-static, typical silicone use.
- Stearyl Alcohol
- Stearic alcohol; fatty alcohol for emulsion thickening/structure, often blended with soaps, moderate comedogenicity.
- Behentrimonium chloride
- Cationic conditioner and preservative; used within restricted limits, high doses may irritate.
- Cetyl Alcohol
- Cetyl alcohol for emulsification/thickening; high concentration >10% may irritate.
- Parfum
- Fragrance for scent; may contain allergens, caution for sensitive skin, full labeling required.
- Isopropyl Alcohol
- Alcohol solvent at 1–10%; fast-evaporating, high levels may cause dryness/irritation
- Benzyl Alcohol
- Mild preservative/solvent at 0.5-1.0%; EU allergen (labeling required), irritation risk if concentrated, avoid in infant/highly sensitive skin.
