- Katha bark resin rich in tannins used as a tonic; high phenol content may cause phototoxicity or darkening.
- Butyrospermum Parkii Butter
- Shea butter for occlusive moisturizing; high melt point, rich texture, caution for oily skin.
- Silica
- Silica powder at 1–10%; absorbs oil, thickens, provides matte finish, for oil-control products
- Octyldodecanol
- Light emollient/emulsifier at 1-5%; low comedogenic, non-greasy feel, broadly compatible, sensitive-skin friendly.
- Citrus Aurantium Dulcis Peel Oil
- Sweet orange peel essential oil, citrus aroma; photosensitive, be careful in daytime; irritating at high levels.
