Buffer and chelator at 0.1–2%; adjusts pH, may irritate sensitive skin at low pH

Disodium cocoamphodiacetate

Amphoteric surfactant for cleansing and foam boosting; milder than sulfates, low comedogenic risk.

Cocamidopropyl Betaine

Cocamidopropyl betaine; zwitterionic co-surfactant reducing irritation and boosting foam, common in mild cleansers.

1,2-Hexanediol

Polyol solvent and preservative booster at 1–5%; light feel, can replace some traditional preservatives

Hydroxypropyl guar

Modified guar gum; multifunctional thickener/stabilizer, water-soluble, sensitive to electrolytes/pH.

Acrylates Copolymer

Acrylate synthetic polymer for film forming and antistatic; breathable film, control dosage carefully

Behenyl Alcohol

Hydroxyacetophenone
