Ingredients explained
- Isopropyl Alcohol
- Alcohol solvent at 1–10%; fast-evaporating, high levels may cause dryness/irritation
- Propylene Glycol
- Polyol humectant at 3-10%; hygroscopic, slight tackiness, mild irritation at high conc., verify preservative efficacy, no allergen.
- Alcohol Denat
- Denatured ethanol; solvent, penetration enhancer, and quick-dry agent; high % may compromise barrier in dry skin.
- Panthenol
- Panthenol (vitamin B5) at 1–5%; moisturizing and reparative, supports barrier recovery
- Citric Acid
- Buffer and chelator at 0.1–2%; adjusts pH, may irritate sensitive skin at low pH
- Betula Alba Leaf Extract
- Botanical leaf extract for mild conditioning and fragrance; extremely low concentration, negligible irritation risk.
- Equisetum Arvense Extract
- Horsetail extract; silicic acid and phenols for astringency; contains pyrrolizidine alkaloids, control source and purity
- BHT
- Lipophilic antioxidant at 0.01-0.05%; ineffective with acidic systems, label-sensitive, check regulatory limits as preservative alternative.
