- Tyrosinase inhibitor for whitening; EU limit 1% in water, unstable and requires light protection, potential irritation.
- Alpha-Arbutin
- Whitening antioxidant, inhibits tyrosinase; use 1-2%, avoid strong acids
- Panthenol
- Panthenol (vitamin B5) at 1–5%; moisturizing and reparative, supports barrier recovery
- Sodium Hyaluronate
- Potent humectant at 0.1–2%; different MW for penetration depth, high levels may draw moisture
- Niacinamide
- Niacinamide at 2–5%; improves texture, controls oil, brightens; high levels may cause sensitivity
- Citrus Paradisi Peel Oil
- Grapefruit peel oil for fragrance; contains phototoxic furanocoumarins, limit concentration, strict sun protection required
- Arctostaphylos Uva-Ursi Leaf Extract
- Bearberry leaf extract; astringent/soothing, for sensitive skin, strict concentration control.
