- Light synthetic ester, fast-drying and non-greasy; high comedogenic risk, limit in acne-prone skin
- Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract
- Aloe vera leaf extract for soothing and humectant; monitor polysaccharide level and endotoxins
- Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil
- Sweet almond oil, light emollient; suitable for sensitive skin, caution for nut allergies.
- Water
- Primary solvent and base; requires preservative system to prevent microbial growth
- Niacinamide
- Niacinamide at 2–5%; improves texture, controls oil, brightens; high levels may cause sensitivity
- Pyridoxine
- Vitamin B6, water-soluble; skin/hair conditioner/anti-static, poor light stability, protect from light.
- Glycerin
- Workhorse humectant at 3–10%; tacky at high levels, pair with occlusives
- C13-14 Isoparaffin
- Light hydrocarbon solvent providing emolliency and solubility; non-allergenic, note occlusive nature
